Design with Purpose: RICHE Supports CREAID Through Sculptural Donation

As part of its enduring commitment to creativity with purpose, RICHE proudly contributed the sculptural piece “ICON 1964 Feet Away Vienna” to CREAID’s charity auction—an initiative dedicated to supporting those in need through the power of art and design.

Designed by Markos Vouzounerakis in collaboration with visual artist Grigoris Lagos, this one-of-a-kind artwork is a poetic homage to the architectural and emotional landscape of Vienna. Through a meticulous composition of brass, steel, glass, acrylic, and resin, the piece evokes the city’s urban identity by deconstructing and reimagining its spatial essence. The reflective interplay of metal and the transparency of glass give rise to a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow, inviting the viewer into a layered exploration of distance, memory, and material presence.

With its bold geometric form and conceptual depth, the piece embodies RICHE’s approach to contemporary design—merging craftsmanship, narrative, and emotion. Auctioned with a starting bid of €950 and an estimated value of €2,750, “ICON 1964 Feet Away Vienna” serves not only as a powerful artistic statement but also as a symbol of social contribution. By supporting CREAID, RICHE reinforces its belief that design holds the potential to inspire change, foster connection, and give back to the community in tangible, meaningful ways.
