At the 10th-anniversary celebration of the Interiors Awards, RICHE was honoured with both GOLD and PLATINUM distinctions for its masterful lighting and spatial design of the PAO BC VIP Entrance & Lounge at OAKA. This project exemplifies our commitment to shaping atmosphere, elegance, and emotion through architectural light. A benchmark for luxury hospitality in athletic venues, it now stands as a reference point in contemporary design.

RICHE WINS GOLD & PLATINUM AT INTERIORS AWARDS 2025 FOR PAO BC VIP ENTRANCE & LOUNGE

On June 5th, 2025, at the prestigious Interiors Awards ceremony held at Anais Club in Athens, RICHE | Beyond Darkness received two of the highest accolades in the field of interior design and architectural lighting: a PLATINUM Award in Lighting Design Projects and a GOLD Award in the Lighting Design category. These honours were granted for our project PAO BC VIP Entrance & Lounge, commissioned by WHITE VEIL for the Panathinaikos BC at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA).

Rooted in the intersection of design mastery and lighting innovation, this project reimagines the experience of high-end hospitality within the context of a sports arena. Through a meticulous orchestration of architectural light, premium materials, and spatial flow, RICHE crafted an environment that embodies sophistication, discretion, and sensorial comfort.

Our design narrative unfolds in layers of light and shadow. Vertical elements inspired by classical colonnades are illuminated with sculptural precision, while the central marble sculpture becomes a luminous focal point through the interplay of indirect and directional lighting. Earthy textures, velvet finishes, and metallic accents compose a palette of understated luxury, while smart lighting technologies adapt the ambiance to each occasion.

Speaking at the ceremony, architect and project lead Markos Vousounerakis stated:

“This project speaks the language of light, space, and silence. It was a challenge, an honour, and a labour of love. These awards belong to the whole team at RICHE, to our collaborators, and to the visionary client who trusted us to elevate the experience of entering a space into a journey of perception.”

The PAO BC VIP Lounge has now become a landmark in contemporary hospitality design – a space that doesn’t simply host, but inspires. This dual recognition reflects RICHE’s philosophy: to shape spaces through light, and to create emotions through atmosphere.
